The Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red - Silver Tongue” is a Spring 2020 release of the original colorway of Michael Jordan's fifth signature shoe. This version brings back the classic “Nike Air” branding previously found on original 1990 releases of the model, that had since been replaced with a Jumpman logo on previous retros. Jordan Brand brings back many original styling elements of the shoe including a reflective silver tongue, black midsole with shark tooth detailing, and an icy translucent blue outsole. Premium white leather covers the upper, save for the clear mesh panel on the midfoot. Red Jumpman branding appears on the tongue and a true-to-original translucent lace lock assists in tying the laces together, just like it did back when Jordan famously wore the sneaker in the '90s.
